Use:

 

Corrosion-resistant describes all steel with a chromium contain of over 12%. By alloying other elements, an improvement in the chemical and physical properties can be obtained. In this way, the element nickel increases the acid-resistance. Molybdenum, niobium, copper etc. act similarly.

 

This standard applies to cast products of:

 

martensitic

austenitic

fully austenitic

austenitic-ferritic (duplex)

steel grades.
